The heat is gone

Fall! It finally cooled down and we can get in the Halloween/Thanksgiving spirit. I love it - it pourred down and for the first time since we have been back to Austin I had to put on a coat - a rain coat that is but still a coat!! Over the weekend Carolina decorated the house with some Halloween decorations and now our house has two spiders climbing up the stone wall. I went with Laura to downtown Austin to pick up some fresh tortiallas from the a Mexican bakery and I enjoyed the Spanish interaction. Laura speaks perfect Spanish and it was fun and exotic to listen to her talk to the sales lady. I searched my brain and found "A la proxima vez" and felt quite "integrated". The cold (it really isn't that cold but after weeks of sunshine the refreshment feels so much colder!) is invogorating my spirits and I hope to be able to start all the projects that have been piling up in my head.
